Wazir Khamsin is one of few journalists master of Kiswahili language in Kenya, his efforts were noted by "Wasta Kituo cha Kiswahili" based in Ngong Nairobi and he was awarded a certificate on 07/10/2011 for the good effort in developing Kiswahili language.

Prof Wangari Maathai RIP 1940-2011
Prof. Wangari Maathai is the first Kenyan and African woman to win the Nobel peace Prize,she also bagged 24 international awards, for her spirit to conserve the environment through her brain child "Green Belt Movement".
She has planted trees in millions (30 million in Kenya alone) and anywhere verywhere she visited,she would ensure that she plants a tree.

Dadaab camps in Northern Kenya have become a safe heaven for thousands Somalia refuges who are runin away from thier country that has been having internal fighting for over three decades now, and as if that is not enough, the country is experincing the worst famine since 1930s.
