Al-shabab be warned-Kenya will remain strong

Ahmed Abdi Godane
Now am just getting too much confused by what is being said by some thugs based in Somali called Al-shabab, this thugs wants us to believe that they are adhering to Islamic faith. Let them know, we all know what Islamic faith says, actually while i was in Pry school, we were taught about Prophet Mohammed, which i do not think happens to Muslim schools.
Thus killing innocent people because they were not Muslim is a barbaric act, how on earth do you tell a woman to lay down and shot her head?, this is not about muslim faith although you pretend to be, this is satanic act which this stupid guys are being mis-used by some very clever people.
Ahmed Abdi Godane, a guy born in 1977 in Hargeisa and who is said to be the person behind the formation of Al-shababa ,may he burn in hell, there is no way such person would have anything good to offer, himself was a bitter person ,who failed in the normal life, thus he had to pour his anger on innocent people by forming such a terror group.
Ahmed Umar, the new leader who took over after Godane was shown the door by the Americans drowns should be aware we Kenyans are after him and we shall stop at nothing to get him, we shall make him pay for the blood he has spilled over and we shall give his own to pigs.
Ahmed Umar, the current Al-shabab leader
I urge our President, Mr. Uhuru Kenayatta to stop at nothing and go out in full force and destroy this thugs, we cannot allow our people to be killed this, we value our people lives and we must not be like "them", KFD has done well and we shall keep on supporting them,go KDF and secure our people.
Al-shabab showed be aware that we Kenyan value and respect all different faiths, but we wont allow our young boys and girls from mombasa or any other area to be brain washed like them. Its not a wish by our security officers to close some mosque in mombasa, but we must now deal with this matter before it gets out of hand.
Thus am warning this thugs who hide behind Muslim faith and cover their fear from being seen on by covering them with   that specail cloth named after great man, Araft. I do not agree that any person in his normal mind can order a woma to lay face down and shot her from behind in the name of faith, no way this act is done by lunatic people who have being brain washed and cannot think on their own.
Kenya will continue thraving no matter what, Kenya is a blessed country and our love, respect and care for all other cultures and communities will continue for ever.
The bus that was attacked near Garissa, note body at L/H corner
Thus my President, i think it high time we do like the Israel, boob their hide outs, an leash our might military to them , let them lip in pain, let their blood flow freely like waters of Tana, the pain should be so tense their will cry and echoes of their voice will be felt in waters L..Victoria.
About the souls of my brothers, sisters and children killed in that bus attack, we all Kenyan are with you, the lose of your loved once will not be in vein, but it is a call up to us Kenyan to unite and defeat this crazy animal called Al-shabab.

We Kenya Doping- No way

Rita Jeptoo conquering the world
Now did i hear this well, that Rita Jeptoo, Boston and Chicago marathon champion has failed a doping test? This is unbelievable, why should Rita use such methods to win yet this is a talent within Kenya. Its so sad to have another Kenyan ban for using doping methods to win and its my hope the B test will prove her innocent. Rita all the best.
That said i wish to look at what is happening in Iten ,home of champions.
After Kenyans dominated the long running races in the world for so long and we still do, the western world as usual decided its time we know what is the secret of this Kenyans.
A lot of myths has being said of how particularly the Karenjin bodies are, how their lungs react, they have longer femur bones, brrrrrrrr of all kinds have being said by the "experts whites.
I remember this issue of wanting to damage Kenyans started way back in 1980s when John Ngugi was dominating the cross country all over the world, he was the people champion in  1986 and 1989 and five titles overall. In march 1989an IAAF doctor visited Ngugi at his rural home in Nyahururu, 300kms from Nairobi, This doctor never identified himself and the team leader John Weston wrote a report saying the people champ has decline random test. John carrere went down from this day as he was ban for four years.
Mathew Kisorio
Am not saying that we Kenyans cannot use this drugs but there are some rumors that some of the athletes have no idea that they have such elements in their body system. i know you must be wondering what am saying, but one such athlete is Mathew Kisorio, Mathew feel sick and he needed some medical attention, too bad for him as the doctor who prescribed him the drugs was not an expert  or did not know who Kisorio was and how he should be treated, all the same my friend Kisorio was banned for two years due to either ignorance or being to casual in his ways of live(its normal we Kenyans trust each other too much), as one KAAA officail put it , but am happy he is back with a bag.

Other Kenyans athletes who have found them on the wrong side of doping claims are Delilah Asiago,Pamela Chepchumba Susan Chepkemei, Lydia Cheromei,Simon Kemboi, Ngariatke Rael Kiyara, Wilson Loyanae, David Munyasia, Elizabeth Muthka, and Ronald Kipchumba Rotto.
This is not a good thing to happen to us and am not happy at all, but am annoyed by KAAA as it has left our athlete so venerable on hands of western managers who are here to make so much money without caring about our reputations.
Henry Rono
Faith far right
There are rumors that there are some managers who induce this athlete without the athlete knowing, the mushrooming of Camps in Iten has made it easier as everything is done in those camps. Thus please Isaih Kiplangat the President of KAAA can act so first now, see the situation that Rita Jeptoo is now, every time i hear you talking tough about out athletes but can you do same on this managers,
why is it that our constitution is so weak anyone can came to Kenya and start working and even buy land and build such big camps. Look at Eastleigh, Somali has made it their small Mogadishu, Iten you will find young upcoming athlete in company of some old white who can qualify to be their grandfathers managing our athletes.
Yes this althele should make as much money as they can as within a certain age , the prowress will fade and will need now to do another duty.
Samuel Wanjiru (RIP) i believe his life went that way due to KAAA not wanting to be part of our athlete life, yet this organization depends on this young men and girls to survive. So can KAAA take charge and use the government to not only monitor this managers but also make sure that our athletes are not mis-used at all.

Vivian Cheriyot
Samuel Wanjiru
Lazaro Chepkwony the first Kenya to compete in an international competition in 1954 in London, Nyanika Maiyoro and Arere Anetia also were presents, came later the great Kipchoge Keino, Ben Jipcho, Temu, Henry Rono Ruth Waithera, Paul Tergat, Wilson Kipsang, Milcah Chemoss, Vivial Cheriyot, Kemboi the king of 3000 steeple chase, this is an indicator who we are and we should be careful with agents, yes white agents i mean it.
Catherine Dereva
Its my hope things will be ok for Rita , but am calling on all you runners please be careful with what you eat or take as medicine, some of drugs in local Chemistries have side effects on you as a runner.

West Gate attack-Security organs tried their best

West Gate Mall
From 20th September all media in Kenya and world at large have been re-visiting the West Mall attack that claimed about 67 people, children women and me from different countries. The terrorism attack shocked the entire Kenya nation and world at large, it reminded every one that war against terror in not for particular nation or people, its for every one. What happened on 23/09/2014, was total show of how inhuman terrorism is, a lot of people still remember the scene like of that young girl ruining towards a rescue officer who will go in books as one person who did this Nation good on that day, I salute you Mr. Haji.
Each and every media house world wide had planned how to remember this attack, video clips that were taken on those four days were back in our screens, pictures, willing sounds and survivors were all over again in our screen and radio.  This was a big reminder to all of us the terrorism is with us and we should be on look out everymoment.
I personally went to the mall that same day it was attacked, arriving there around 2015pm. I found alot of people trying all they can to assist the injured and direct others to the safer areas. I thank anyone who did anything to help safe a situation or life, may God bless you.
When the attact started some shoppers called their relatives or friends who came in to help, Kenya police, the recce squad from GSU and the green berets all came with one one purpose, to save as many live as possible.
From what we have seen on media, people like
Mr Haji assisting a child
Mr Haji and others who are allowed to own weapons and some few police men on duty were the first to react to the attack, later the recce squad from GSU came and give more power with better weapons and skills. Its said that at one point the recce squad had pinned the terrorist to one area, this went well until the green berets guys came in the picture.
From what i have heard been aired and said by reporters, is that when the military came ,things went bad as there was an excahnge of fire between the military and the recce squa officers to a point one officer was killed and another injured.
I do agree that was not a good thing at all to happen and its a big lose when an officer dies from a friendly fire. If i remember well, several times we have heard the world power house USA having her military men killed by friendly fire, thus sometimes this things happens. I do believe no security officer went to the mall with intention of killing a fellow Kenyan, that one i know is a fact.
Kenya Military outside the mall
Kenya military has being blamed has interfering with the operation that was going on well, one officer said in a local television that the police saw it like being under looked when the military came, while the military on the other side thought the police were not giving them the whole needed formation, this are pure speculations that needs to be verified.
A KDF officer escorting people to safety
According to one Kenya local media investigation, the narrator says that the mall had about 1500 people at the time of the attack and after the siege ended the Kenya government puts the figure at 67 people. I know its painful to lose you friend or relative in such manner but i think we need to give credit to all who tried to save the situation at the mall. This terrorist had one thing, kill as many people as they can, so although were lost our mothers, sisters, children and friends, we should remember if it was not for the reaction of our security organs ,we do not know how the situation would have been.
I say thanks to civilian who risked their lives entering the mall to save, i say thank you to Kenya police, the military and Kenya red cross the work i witnessed for four days showed how Kenyans love each other when our minds are not spolit by other elements.
Thanks you all and God bless.

Samburu beading-STOP it NOW !

In Samburu land, men treats women like objects or sex slaves, the climate is usually harsh and most men spend their times playing such games like "mbao"(pictured left), in bushes and eating meat. This habit accelerate the culture of beading to young Samburu girls by Moran.
A young Samburu Moran
Moran are usually "young men" who the community hold their status highly as the protector of community interests. Thus this men spend their times in bushes playing mbao and eating meat and discussing how to attack other communities (mostly Turukana community), and steal their cattle's.
A older Moran

A Samburu woman

Due to this habit of catlle rustling, some Samburu mothers holds this Morans in high status and welcomes them in beading their young girls.

Samburu women making beads
The beading culture means that a Moran can give a young girl a neck less of beads which is like announcing that this girl is taken by this Moran  and will use her to satisfy his sex wishes. The girls mother build them a small Manyatta where they will be spending nights together. The Moran has all rights of coming at any time of night, wake up the girls mother for food and later on ask for the girl so that he can take her to the Manyatta for the night.
A Samburu manyatta
The worst happens if the girls gets impregnated by this Moran. The Moran never cares about the girl again and he just leaves for another girl within or in another Manyatta.

The girls mother takes all the responsibilities which include how to terminate the pregnancy as no Moran in Samburu would marry a girl with a child, yet they are the cause of this children born out of wed lock. Different methods are used to try and terminate the pregnancy, first the girl is forced to sniff tobacco which will make her keep on sneezing till the embryo  comes out. If this fails, the mother gets a group of women who lays the girl down and steps on her small tummy in turns until bloods comes out from girls private parts.

This is the culture that should stop as it is doing no good to this young girls and Samburu community at large. Samburu has so many different cultures that can still be used to promote this great community, but beading of young girls should stop at all cost.
Dancing is one such culture that can still go in marketing the community globally.

The dance involves men and women coming together and dance in different ways like jumping, moving in cycles holding hands and producing entertaining harms.
some times the men just harm sounds and clamping while the women dance while moving around like the picture on the right shows.
Young mother
This young Samburu girl (L) was beaded and later impregnated by a Samburu Moran who never cared about her or the new born child.
The pain is so much as the Moran is related to her and due to this he can only have sex with her but cannot marry her.

A Young Samburu girl
I met another girl(R) who had just being beaded, she looked stressed but she said she had no option as the Moran are dangerous and can harm her family if she does not agree to be beaded.
Is the high time that this practice stops, Samburu like any other Kenyan girl needs support and education. Samburu leaders should condemn strongly this practice no matter the cost in their political fields.

Kenya women working in Saud Arabia-Facts

Saudi Arabia flag
I think its the high time the facts to be told. The passport issues : Here in Kenya we all know that if you employ a house girl, gardener or any other duties you are advice to have his/her copy of ID so that if something happens and the staff runs away, you will be able to know where he/she came from. Same the employment in those countries states that before you get to know the house girl, take her/his passport just to make sure who she is.
Salary of Ks. 300,000.00. this is the greatest lie, even though this families in those middle east countries are rich but the salary is a guided policy by the government of those countries. The salary rages between Ks. 18000-25000.00, which is more better than what our ministry of labor states, Ks. 7000.00.
Bogus agents-The worst thing that can happen is when a bogus agent is processing documents for this girls, its possible the girl will be cheated of benefit and salary, but if the girl goes through agents who are registered and have offices in both countries, this girl will be in safe hands and she will be catered for even when she is there.
A house girl with her employer's children
The bad thing that is happening is where this girls get involved in affairs with Kenya truck drivers who works in those countries and are cheated to better jobs BUT with conditions to steal the jewels from those house. This happens allot and this drivers dump them along the roads where most are picked by police and put in those centers due to:-
1.When the girl run away, she left her passport with the employer, making her an illegal immigrant.
2.Not knowing the name of town where she is, from or to where makes her case complicated and she must be locked up.
3.Most employers pays for all expenses for the girls, air tickets to and fro, buys the cloths and offer food and shelter, thus any agent asking for front fee is cheating, only Dubai is complicated and you may have to pay for all the above.
NOTE:
Arabic women
If a girl feels that she is mistreated (which can happen even here in Kenya), she has all the rights to complain to her agent who will try and discuss the matter with the family, transfer her to another home or return her back home,-BUT she must complete 3 months which will cover the expenses paid.
Am advising parents and girls to be aware of agents that are promising heaven. Use an agent with an established office both here in Kenya and in those countries.

Residents block Thika highway at Githurai

Protesters lit fires and placed stones on the Thika Superhighway at Githurai 45.
The busy Thika SuperHighway in Nairobi Kenya was blocked at Githurai 45 station on Tuesday morning as protesting residents lit fires and threw stones at police officers attempting to clear the road.
Police lobbed tear gas at the rowdy mobs, who burnt tyres and placed stones on the multi-lane highway, including the overpass.
Motorists avoided the road, which was rendered impassable, and matatus plying the Githurai 45 route were all grounded. IT took me almost three hours to cover a distance of less than 10 kms to my work place.
The cause of demostration;-
The residents were protesting the arrest of a police officer, Titus Musila, alias Katitu, who is alleged to have shot dead a crime suspect in the area.
They said the Flying Squad officer had helped improve security in the area and, therefore, should not have been arrested for helping to fight crime.
Kasarani police division commander Augustine Thumbi confirmed that the officer had been arrested on suspicion of murder and was charged in court last week.

Rwanda Warns DRC Against Provocation

Foreign Affairs minister Louise Mushikiwabo has warned DR Congo to refrain from unnecessary provocation following an attack by the Congolese army.
DRC army
Yesterday morning at around 7am, some elements of the DR Congo army (FARDC) launched an attack in Busasamana Sector, Rubavu District, confronting the Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF).
The DR Congo soldiers opened fire on an RDF patrol truck, forcing the Rwandan soldiers to retaliate and the resulting exchange of fire killed one FARDC soldier identified as Hategekimana Boysiro.
"These actions by the DR Congo are jeopardising the region's extensive efforts to ensure peace, stability and development for all our citizens," Mushikiwabo said.
"We urge the leadership of DR Congo to embrace the logic of peace and end all attacks on the Rwandan territory. Rwanda stands ready to act to protect its citizens."
The morning firefight lasted for 30 minutes but resumed later in the afternoon when two FARDC platoons attempted to deploy on Rwandan territory, leaving four FARDC soldiers dead.
The New Times journalist at the scene saw the bodies of Congolese soldiers who were shot as they attempted to occupy the Rwandan territory.
Last evening, Mushikiwabo tweeted that "Rwanda has put up for several months with behaviour from DR Congo unbecoming of leadership desirous of peace. I made that point to DR Congo counterpart."
Following the attacks, RDF immediately called on members of the Extended Joint Verification Mechanism for an independent assessment.
Their access was denied by DR Congo authorities.
This paper understands there was heavy deployment of RDF in Rubavu following the attacks that left one civilian injured.
Last year, about 40 bombs and rockets were fired into Rwanda, particularly, in August 2013, when a bomb launched from DR Congo territory landed in a marketplace in Bugangari killing Vestine Mukagasana and seriously injuring her two months old son.
Rwanda, then, did not retaliate but instead condemned the attacks that came from the joint operations FARDC and the FDLR, a Congo-based militia group widely responsible for the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
However, in the past three months, the DR Congo has unilaterally closed its border with Rwanda, imposed visa fees despite regional and bilateral agreements and failed to honor their commitment to neutralise FDLR militia operating in the DR Congo for the last 20 years.

Sixty kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls 'escape captors'

Sixty kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls 'escape captors': Local vigilante says he has received report some of the girls have made it back home

  • Nearly 300 were taken by terrorists from village of Chibok on April 14
  • Around 50 had previously managed to flee the hands of Boko Haram
  • The group aims to set up an Islamic state in Africa's largest economy

Sixty more of the kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls have escaped their captors, it was reported last night.
Nearly 300 were taken from their boarding school dormitory in the north western village of Chibok by Islamic terrorists on April 14.
Around 50 had previously managed to flee, meaning more than 150 are still prisoners.

Hope of a successful rescue is fading as nearly three months have passed since the kidnapping and negotiations appear to have made little progress.
But last night news agency AFP reported that a local vigilante, Abbas Gava, said he had ‘received an alert from my colleagues . . . that about 63 of the abducted women and girls had made it back home’.

The escape was confirmed by a security source in Maiduguri, the regional capital, on the condition of anonymity, AFP reported.
Terrorist group Boko Haram, which roughly translates as Western education is forbidden, aims to set up an Islamist state in Africa's largest economy.
Members have killed thousands in bomb and gun attacks in a five-year insurgency, striking as far afield as the central city of Jos and the capital Abuja.
Terror: The girls were paraded in a video which sparked a global campaign, but the government's response was muted, said critics. With three months having passed since the abduction, hopes are fading

Weeks after the kidnapping the group’s leader Abubakar Shekau released a video in which he said he would sell the girls into slavery or marry them off if members of his sect were not released from prison.
The government has come under fire for its confused response as President Goodluck Jonathan ruled out releasing prisoners, but ministers said it would be possible to negotiate.
The abduction triggered a worldwide campaign, Bring Back Our Girls, with celebrities taking part including the U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama.
Amnesty International estimates about 1,500 people have been killed in northeast Nigeria in the first three months of this year.
Just two weeks ago there were unconfirmed reports from Nigerian media of another kidnapping of more than 90 villagers in the same area.

Terrorists are overconfident in declaring Islamic state, experts say:

The decision by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) to declare a new state shows signs the terrorists are presumptuous their power can’t be challenged, according to foreign policy experts.
Kirk S. Lippold, USN (Ret.) and Sarhang Hamasaeed told Foxnews.com the rapid expansion of ISIS could be their downfall.
Hamasaeed is the senior program officer for the Middle East and Africa at the U.S. Institute of Peace. Lippold served as commander of the USS Cole when it came under a suicide terrorist attack by Al Qaeda in 2000.
“The decision definitely shows a confidence, overconfidence by the [militants],” said Hamasaeed. “They now feel they have large population and a number of towns [to] move to the next stage of expanding their territory.”
Lippold added that recent actions by the militants demonstrate an “overreach.” He says the reality is “they are stretched too far, too thin – they don’t have the ability to operationally hold large swaths of  [territory and] not a large force to keep the population under thumb and control them.”
Hamasaeed points out if Iraqi forces are not able to stop ISIS, it’s likely they will continue to push further into Iraq.
The group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is pushing to control all of the Middle East. “They feel that now they have the geographic heart of the Islamic [world] and now with the finances to make [it happen],” said Hamasaeed.
Lippold says Iraq’s current government is setting up the conditions for al-Baghdadi to grow stronger. “You could potentially see the fall of the government … if we [U.S.] engage with [Prime Minister] Malaki and prop him up; it does nothing to solve the core problems.

22 dead in attacks on Kenyan coast, Red Cross say

Twenty-two people were killed on saturday night attacks by gunmen in two counties on the Kenyan coast, where aother attacl happened and 65 people were killed, the Kenya Red Cross said Sunday.
The Saturday night attacks took place in the towns of Hindi in Lamu county and Gamba in Tana River, Kenya Red Cross chief Abbas Gulet said.
According to the Lamu county commissioner Njenga Miiri, a group of about 15 gunmen raided the Malamandi village of Hindi and started shooting at residents, the attackers also attacked Gamba police station, Kenya's police chief David Kimaiyo said.
Hindi is about 25 miles north of Mpeketoni where dozens were killed in an attack last month, while Gamba is about 43 miles northwest of Mpeketoni.
Police said 13 people were killed in Hindi, while in Gamba nine others were killed and one person was missing.
The nine victims in Gamba included five inmates said to be non-Muslim, who were killed when the gunmen attacked the police station, said a senior police officer who insisted on anonymity because he was not authorized to speak with the media. Three other inmates escaped with the gunmen.
The officer said the gunmen got to the police station by car-jacking a truck and killing its three occupants. Five police officers were wounded in the attack and one officer was killed in the attack.
