Kenya women working in Saud Arabia-Facts

Saudi Arabia flag
I think its the high time the facts to be told. The passport issues : Here in Kenya we all know that if you employ a house girl, gardener or any other duties you are advice to have his/her copy of ID so that if something happens and the staff runs away, you will be able to know where he/she came from. Same the employment in those countries states that before you get to know the house girl, take her/his passport just to make sure who she is.
Salary of Ks. 300,000.00. this is the greatest lie, even though this families in those middle east countries are rich but the salary is a guided policy by the government of those countries. The salary rages between Ks. 18000-25000.00, which is more better than what our ministry of labor states, Ks. 7000.00.
Bogus agents-The worst thing that can happen is when a bogus agent is processing documents for this girls, its possible the girl will be cheated of benefit and salary, but if the girl goes through agents who are registered and have offices in both countries, this girl will be in safe hands and she will be catered for even when she is there.

The bad thing that is happening is where this girls get involved in affairs with Kenya truck drivers who works in those countries and are cheated to better jobs BUT with conditions to steal the jewels from those house. This happens allot and this drivers dump them along the roads where most are picked by police and put in those centers due to:-
1.When the girl run away, she left her passport with the employer, making her an illegal immigrant.
2.Not knowing the name of town where she is, from or to where makes her case complicated and she must be locked up.
3.Most employers pays for all expenses for the girls, air tickets to and fro, buys the cloths and offer food and shelter, thus any agent asking for front fee is cheating, only Dubai is complicated and you may have to pay for all the above.
NOTE:
Arabic women
If a girl feels that she is mistreated (which can happen even here in Kenya), she has all the rights to complain to her agent who will try and discuss the matter with the family, transfer her to another home or return her back home,-BUT she must complete 3 months which will cover the expenses paid.
Am advising parents and girls to be aware of agents that are promising heaven. Use an agent with an established office both here in Kenya and in those countries.
