Standing with KDF

For sometime now I have being quite from this platform, but that's does not mean I was off on line, I was in my other site https://www.flickr.com/photos/peternjorogecom/,https://twitter.com/PMnjoroge and Facebook, Mwaura wa Kabakuri.
I wish to talk my mind on what I believe as far the issue of KDF killing in Somalia is concerned. Kenya has enjoyed a well brandishing economy due to our security being good. Even though we have several terrorist attacks, Kenya is one country that entire universe cannot live without, any serious country that wants to develop and which knows that Africa in the next big thing in forms of economy powers must align herself with this great national called Kenya.
Tourism's is one sector that has helped Kenya economy to grow and its something that the four government that Kenya has seen since 1963, has put all effort needed to make it safe and accessible.
This went all well until Somalia government of Saide Barre was overthrown and the country has never known peace at all, make you this is third decade since Said Barre was overthrown.
Somali has seen several functions claiming to be legitimate to govern her, but each time another function comes up and conflict starts. The worst that has happen in Somalia in the emerging of Al-shabab terror group.
This terror group was terrorising Somalia people and later on decided it can step its terror acts to our beloved country Kenya and in that matter Mombasa. With a well calculated move this terrorist decided to attack our tourism industry by abducting our guests in Mombasa. This was a well calculated move to start war with Kenya as they knew that's one of back bone of our economy.
After several such abducts, the then government of President Mwai Kibaki decided enough is enough and on October 16, 2011 the Kenya mighty army KDF crossed Kenya Somali border with one aim of , one Protecting Kenya integrity and two try and restore peace in Somalia with hope of Somalia government taking control after her withdraw.

Since KDF entered Somalis, the military has helped to give social services like clean water to starving Somalia people, medical service and food. This has seen the locals welcoming the KDF to live among themselves, but as its known, among your friends , its an enemy.
The recent killing of KDF in   El Addw Somalia shows hoe this enemy is so determined to destroy our nation. Killing our sons and taking pictures which later were seen on line shows how the terror group has no human value and does not respect it. Those solders were our sons, brothers and fathers who were there to keep us safe.
as i type this blog am feeling safe due to security offered by our security organs, those organs has young men and girls who said they want to saf4egurd our nation with their lives, may God bless you plus the wombs that give such courageous Kenyan.
When one joins any form of discipline forces, you are made to be aware that if that enemy sees you first and pulls the trigger, you are done, thus its upon you to see him/her first.
This means , death in within arms reach always. I know its not anyone will to die in any form and if its our wish, we would like to live forever.
Is USA, when they were fighting with Taliban, young energetic solders who graduated are the once sent in such areas plus few experience once. This is because you cannot expect a 45 yrs plus solders to do what a 25 yrs will do, that's why even after graduating from military training, if you want to join regiment like paratroopers, you must prove your ability through a very vigorously training.

Am saying this as a section of few Kenyans Politicians were on media saying that the government deployed young solders who have no war experience. The routine of military is to exchange platoons, company or battalion deployed at certain intervals. That's why this company was only two weeks old in Somalia.

I think what i may worry is that, it seems like Alshababa got more information about our solders strategy than what our solders got. Maybe we need to up our intelligence and work out any small or major information that comes our way.
As we honour our solders, i still have great faith and respect in the
God bless Kenya God bless KDF.
