Team Kenya to World Championship -Beijing 2015

Starting on 22/08/2015, the world championship will start in Beijing, China where big names all over the world will line up ready to pick the glory of wining a world title. As usual, Kenya the power house in Middle and long distance will be among the nations parading their best runners.
David Reddish

Team Kenya will be lead by world and Olympic champion David Rudisha and although he has lost twice at grand Pr ix and for the first time he was defeated at home soil by a fellow Kenya Ferguson Cheruiyot, Rudisha still can pull surprise as he claims. Another big name in Kenya team is that of Ezekiel Kemboi ,Kemboi has proved unbeatable in 3000 steeplechase and even though he finished at position 4 during Kenya selection where he was seen encouraging Conseslus Kipruto to push forward fow a win. The show down will be in this race as Kenya has entered some of the best , Brimin Kipruto has being having good times in China and he has already sounded a warning to his country man, the winner of Kenya selection, Jairus Birech is also in good form and this will be a race that will produce fire works.
10,000m is a race that Kenyans cannot understand why and how comes Kenya has failed to win more than two decades. The likes of Moses Rono,Paul Tergat seems missing for some times , but there is a new blood in form of Geoffrey Kamworor, Bedan Karoki and mark Korir who have sworn to bring home this elusive gold medal home. This team must work very smart as this event will have other great runners like Mo Farah from Bratain and Ethiopians who have ruled this race for quite a while before arrival of Mo Farah.
Faith Chepngetich (233) will lead in 1500 women
Asbel Kiprop, him of great and long strides fame, seems to be in his own class going by what we have witnessed his performance recently. He has being wining his races with easy, he is one person that has being having bad times in championship due mostly to his over confidence approach to finales. I hope this time he will do his calculation well and deliver this medal home.
Kenya has also fielded in other discipline and for the first time, Kenya may cerebrate a medal in world championship from filed event. Julius Yego, commonly known as "you tube man", has shown he can do it better. With 91.39m throw, he is ranked at position one at the current standing with Keshorn Walcot (Lausanne )at position two with a 90.16m throw, this gives Yego an upper hand and maybe for the first time Kenya will win a gold medal in Javelin.
Thus, am predicting men gold in 1500m,3000m,Marathon, and Javelin.
I women, Kenya ladies have really woken up after being a shadow of men for so long. This resilience has seen great names in 10000m where Vivian Cheruiyot was a thorn in fresh for Ethiopians until she became pregnant, now she is back and she won Kenya finales at Kasarani stadium. She says all she want is a podium finish but am seeing more than that, here is a gold medal in wait. Other runners who will push Kenya aim in this race will be US based and  Olympic Silver winner, Sally Kipyego and Betsy Saina.
Pamela Jelimo opened doors for Kanya ladies in 800m
Mercy Chereno can only blame herself if she does not win her specialist ,5000m with Viola Kibiwot, Irene Cheptai, it will be a field that will see explode as the Ethiopians have great names to in form of world record holder Genzebe Dibaba who has being a thorn to Kenyans.
Kenya is assured a gold medal in women 3000 steeplechase, Virginia Nyambura may cause the unthinkable as she has being doing very well in this area, with a push from Rosefline Chepngetich and Hyvin Jepkemoi, its upto the luck of one of this girls to lose.
The full team Kenya is listed here down.
