TEJAS HIRANI-Racing star

At only 16 year old Kenyan born Tejas Hirani first got into a go kart when he was just 9 years old. Since then, with Team Magic by his side he has continued to go from strength to strength. Tejas competed in his first championship in 2010 in the 60cc class at the Solai track in Nakuru, Kenya. Through further coaching by Rob and a determination to win Tejas raced within the Team Magic go kart team. With this he quickly took his place as Top rank and moved up to the junior rotax class. Tejas has shown huge potential and has traveled to both the UK and UAE to prove himself as a serious contender.

2012 - Tejas took part in the Cross Country, and Rally Raids locally in Kenya. Using the Magibug he has successfully completed and won the buggy class. Teamed up with Riyaz Ismail as his navigator the duo were the ones to beat whilst up against certain winners like Ian Duncan, Mike Hughes, and Alex Gibbs. 2013 looked like an even more exciting year for Tejas as the arrival of his new racing machine - the Rage buggy imported from the UK, built to bespoke specifications, and providing more power Tejas is set for even greater things as and participated to protect the title. Riyaz and Tejas retained their Rally Raid Buggy Title 2013, and Tejas made it a hatrick with the Auto X Championship - Non Turbo Buggy category and the Kenya Karting Championship - Junior Rotax category.
In addition:

Tejas had passed the Formula BMW Rookie Test and been offered a place by Formula BMW to attend the Academy 2014 - we are currently seeking sponsorship to enable him to take up this amazing opportunity. This could be the beginning of something big and his chance at entering into the international circuit. Tejas was chosen to represent Kenya in the FIA Africa selection event in South Africa....... and finished as a runner up.

In December 2013 Tejas was awarded the "SOYA" Sports Personality of the Year 2013 for the Boys Category.... that was a huge honor.
ON 22/08/2015 he was in Naivasha to show his skills where i met him .
